Artist Statement

Part of making art is to get to know ourselves, to reveal who we are by telling our stories. Art as a visual language to evoke philosophical views on humanity and beyond is my greatest inspiration.

Exploring our human history in order to understand what is happening now so that we can possibly predict our future is a vast interest to me, and it helps to facilitate my personal and artistic growth.

When an idea appears, I research to get appropriate references keeping facts relevant. To make an ideal composition is often a lengthy design process. When painting, I apply multi layers of acrylic or oil paint, blending in and glazing over to create a picture that could be worth a thousand words.
